It’s been so long since I have written a post. Must be the New Year resolutions that are inspiring me to get back to it. I’ve been so busy being pregnant, moving to a new home in LA, and chasing a two year old that I kinda lost track. Being a new mom and building a family has definitely challenged me to organize my thoughts. Sometimes, you get lost in the moments and forget to reflect a little. So, here is to a more balanced positive new year filled with many more posts to come where I can share a creative outlet with you guys on what it is I spend my days doing!
Let me start by giving ya’ll an update on my bump situation 🙂 I’m 33 weeks at the moment and feeling all the magical amazing feelings of pregnancy. It truly is a beautiful empowering experience as a woman, and I hope that other woman can experience it! It changes you physically (obviously) but mentally as well! Makes you realize all the things that truly matter and just how strong you can really be. Babies are the best thing on earth and they remind us of all the good in the world. I wouldn’t change being a mom for anything. It is the most rewarding thing I think I’ll ever do in my lifetime.
Anyways – I’m pretty hormonal and could honestly go on and on about how much I love being a mom but I’ll get back to what inspired me in the first place! haha. My third trimester “nesting” vibes have really kicked in full gear and I’ve been trying to get our house ready for all that is to come in just a matter of a month and a half. Plus, there is something so therapeutic about decorating for me! I feel so in my element and it distracts me from all the aches and pains too 😉
I wanted to share with you guys our guest house I’ve been working on. Here are a few photos below!
I saw this daybed at World Market and had to have it! Thought it was the perfect centerpiece to establish a theme for everything else. Most of the other pieces I found from Target, HomeGoods, and local shops in my area.
Here are a few links on some of the pieces I found:
Let me know what you guys think! Love hearing feedback or sharing anything that you think I might like too 🙂
